Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is set to release later this year and all eyes are on what happens next in the franchise. After the tragic death of Chadwick Boseman, people were wondering what Marvel Studios would do with the franchise, and now we might have an idea of who the main antagonist will be. According to Charles Murphy of Murphy’s multiverse, Namor will be the main villain of wakanda forever.

Namor is rumored to appear in the film, with Tenoch Huerta possibly playing the iconic Marvel Studios character. The film is also supposed to introduce us to who will take up the mantle of Black Panther. The two names circulating are Letitia Wright’s Shuri and Winston Duke’s M’Baku. One thing is certain, we are going to live an interesting adventure.

Manufacturing on wakanda forever was quite tragic. Boseman’s death shook the world and forced the studio to change its plans to Black Panther. Fans wondered at one point if Marvel Studios would continue with the franchise and if the studio would continue to go through tragedy. Recently, producer Nate Moore revealed the pressure the studio was facing amid the deaths of the cast. While speaking with ComicBook.com’s Phase Zero podcast, Moore revealed how those pressures affected the film.

“I think this movie has a different pressure, obviously, with the loss of Chadwick, which was unexpected and unprecedented in a narrative way, to figure out how to deal with it,” Moore admitted. “So beyond ‘Hey, we want to have a great fun time’ and the people of the first movie, this is how to make sure that it respects its legacy and tells a story that’s not exploitative, which we would never, never did, but builds on the things he loved about the property and builds on the things he brought to the property in a nice, real, earned, organic way. I think we’re going to see the film for two purposes, pure entertainment, but also cathartic, and we have to be mindful of both of those purposes while we’re doing it.

Not much is currently known about the plot of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever because the details are reduced to the bare minimum. The movie had to be changed after Boseman’s tragic death, and fans are wondering what’s next. Along with being the next chapter in the Wakanda corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the sequel will also introduce another major MCU player with actress Dominique Thorne playing the role of Riri Williams, aka Ironheart.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever The release is scheduled for November 11, 2022. Ryan Coogler returns to direct the sequel and is also developing a new Marvel TV series for Disney+ also set in the world of Wakanda. The film will star Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Letitia Wright, Angela Bassett, Dominique Thorne, Michaela Cole, Florence Kasumba, Tenoch Huerta and Martin Freeman.
