Bob’s Burgers fans need to know this cookbook

“The Bob’s Burgers Burger Book: Real Recipes for Joke Burgers,” includes 75 burger recipes that pay homage to some of the burger names of the day that were featured on the show’s airing (via She Knows). Bob Belcher’s specials usually involve some kind of pun or allusion to popular culture, literary classics, as well as historical figures or events, and each episode tosses at least one new clever burger moniker.

The creative burgers featured in this book are taken straight from the show and include humorous titles such as the “Foot Feta-ish Burger (topped with president feta cheese crumbles)”, the “Beets of Burden Burger”, the ” Shoot Out at the Okra Corral Burger (served with fried okra)”, the “Sweaty Palms Burger (accompanied by Hearts of Palm)” and a titled “I Know Why the Cajun Burger Sings”, a reference to Maya’s autobiography Angelou “I Know Why the Caged The Bird Sings.” Most of the recipes come from the fan-made blog “The Bob’s Burgers Experiment”.

Additionally, the book is illustrated by Bento Box Entertainment from “Bob’s Burgers” creator Loren Bouchard in the same aesthetic as the series and features many popular characters from the series. Each recipe also lists the episode the special burger appeared in so you can snack while you watch.
