When I was little, my second favorite place in the world was the Indiana State Fair. It might have surpassed Disney World if they had princesses handing out corndogs.

The fair had everything a child could dream of. Sugar, metal objects that kept you going in circles, stuffed cartoon characters my dad could win me over, and animals that leaned over me when I petted them.
