Kings Cast Ranking Says Goodbye to Show Amid Season 2 Rumors

Ranking of kings may be over, but the hit anime has certainly left a big impression on fans. The winter series welcomed Wit Studios’ new show to the airwaves, and fans watched it as it competed against the company’s old series. The attack of the Titans. Ultimately, both shows topped the anime ratings, and Ranking of kings has fans desperate for more. But for now, it looks like the cast is saying goodbye to their characters.

The goodbye happened not so long ago Ranking of kings gathered their cast for AnimeJapan this year. It’s where the show’s seven leads took to the stage to celebrate the first season, and they were all asked what they would say to their respective characters now that their gig is over.

Of course, Minami Hinata had the most to say as the actress voices Bojji in Ranking of kings. She just wanted to say thank you to the boy while Ayumu Murase, the voice behind Kage, admitted they had questions about the character’s actions in the first season finale.

As for the other actors on stage, Daiki Yamashita (Hokuro) and Yuuki Kaji (Daida) reflected on how their characters grew up in the first season with great pride. In fact, the latter said Daida wanting to “restart together” caught their attention, and fans wouldn’t hesitate to explore such a twist if season two ever happened.

After all, Ranking of Kings has been completely silent about its future since the end of the first season. Wit Studios hasn’t said anything about a renewal, but Ranking of Kings has proven popular enough to warrant a new season. And if that happens, netizens can get an anime team update at a Ranking of kings event in July.
