The series FROM is renewed for season 2 by EPIX


In recent years, EPIX has established itself as a go-to destination for disturbing stories, with the network recently confirming that its latest thriller series, FROM, has been renewed for a second season. The series having come from the minds behind projects like A.k.a, The iron Throneand Lost, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that this first season has only scratched the surface of what’s to come for the show, with the second season allowing audiences to dive even deeper into the twisted storyline. The second series will begin filming later this year and is expected to air in 2023.

Per press release, “Premium Network EPIX today announced that contemporary sci-fi horror series FROM has been renewed for a second season of 10 episodes. Created by John Griffin (Crater) and produced by Jack Bender (Lost, Game of Thrones) and Jeff Pinkner (Lost, Alias, Fringe), the series unravels the mystery of a nightmarish city that traps all who enter it. In season two, hidden truths about the city’s nature and terrifying origins begin to emerge, even as the lives of its inhabitants are thrown into chaos by the arrival of mysterious newcomers. Production will begin this summer in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with an expected airdate of 2023.

“The first of the series FROM was EPIX’s most-watched original series premiere in premium network history and the current performance analysis track that the entire series is on track to be EPIX’s second-most-watched original behind the Emmy-winning series Godfather of Harlemproduced by and with Forest Whitaker.

“The series stars Harold Perrineau (Lost) leading an ensemble cast that includes Catalina Sandino Moreno (Graceful Maria, The Affair), Eion Bailey (Band of Brothers, Once Upon a Time), Hannah Cheramy (Undercover, Van Helsing), Simon Webster (wanderers), Ricky He (the good doctor), Chloé Van Landschoot (Charity, Skin), Corteon Moore (Utopia Falls), Pegah Ghafoori (The perfect marriage), David Alpay (stone castle), Elizabeth Saunders (Claire), Elizabeth Moy and Avery Konrad (honor society).”
