Will Corinthian return in season 2? The comics reveal the answer


Corinthian, played by Boyd Holbrook in Netflix Sand seller adaptation, wasn’t meant to be a fan-favorite character. The Corinthian is not recreated in the Sand seller comics up to the ninth volume, The good ones, when Morpheus needs his help to rescue and protect Daniel (Lyta and Hector’s child). Will the Corinthian be in Sand seller Season 2?

While The Corinthian is regenerated by Morpheus towards the end of the ten volumes Sand seller comic book series (not including canonical additions and spinoffs), he could make an appearance even earlier in the Netflix series. Holbrook’s chilling (but also alluring?) take on the serial killer captivated audiences and earned the actor accolades. As a fan-favorite villain, his chances of appearing in Season 2 are high, though they’re far from confirmed. (After all, his shrunken-headed skull is in the care of Lucienne, Morpheus’ most trusted ally.)

It’s evident in the finale that the series sets up the rivalry and drama that should unfold between Morpheus and the Endless Siblings in the comics. Desire, Despair, and Delirium have an ongoing beef with their older brother, the King of Dreams. Desire (Mason Alexander Park), notorious for being a trickster and a temptress, may very well find a way to trick Lucienne and use Corinthian for her bidding.

We’ll have to wait and see if Corinthian comes back in The sand man Season 2 – assuming Netflix renews the series, of course.
